35 years later, Pembroke police pursue killer in case that changed town
On Feb. 12, 1984, Virginia Hannon was 59, widowed and living alone at her house on West Street, where someone broke into her home, kicked, punched, stabbed and strangled her, and left her body covered in a sheet on her bed.
